Once again LUPONG TAGAPAMAYAPA of Barangay Cataning, City of Balanga, Bataan was adjudged as the Regional and National Winner in the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) for the year 2014 and received a Trophy and a Cash Prize amounting to Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000.00) from Region but the prize from National is not yet claim. This year 2015, We are again competing to bag this prestigious awards thrice in a row for much coveted Hall of Famer Awardee. |

Learning Barangay Week Program of Cataning was held from July 28 - August 02, 2014. There's a lot of activities conducted daily with free of Charge sponsored by the City of Balanga thru the Sangguniang Barangay of Cataning. Wherein our constituents is the primary beneficiaries on said activity. Thousands of people attended during opening program/flag ceremony to wit the goodness, arrangement and the flow of our program on how we conducted. |

BARANGAY CATANING launched it’s Healthy Lifestyle called “HATAW SA CATANING” last February 14, 2011 coinciding with the celebration of Hearts Day which the heart is the primary factor of a healthy body. It was conducted to promote health consciousness among its constituents. Hataw and aerobics callisthenic styles which was a form of exercise by means of dancing, bending and stretching of the body on its initial launching with more than 100 participants joined including among other Barangay Officials, Tanods, Sangguniang Kabataan, BHW, Kabalikat, Senior Citizens and all other organization in the Barangay. Punong Barangay concurrently Liga ABC President Benigno P. Meriño promise that this program will continuously provide to all interested Kabarangays every Friday at 5:30pm.to 6:30pm. and free of charge to all participants. He believes that health is wealth, so with this kind of activities can help his constituents healthy all year round. |

Barangay Cataning is the “Best Implementor” of KAsama…ANI…sa…Barangay (KAANIB) Program for the year 2010, and Agri- Program by the City Government of Balanga under the City Agrarian Office thru the leadership of Mrs. Nerissa B. Mateo. When Barangay Cataning launched the KAANIB Program since August 2008, it is continuously implemented up to the present. It is headed by our energetic Punong Barangay Benigno P. Meriño and Chairman on Agriculture Kag. Arthur P. Olivera with able support of very active KAANIB President Mrs. Zenaida G. Tomas.

Every end of the year Barangay Cataning conducted its Annual Cedula Mo – Regalo Ko Raffles and Awarding of Plaques and Certificates with Cash Incentives to our Barangay Tanods with 5 years in service and above continuous services, and to all deserving Constituents who dedicated their time and effort in various programs, projects and activities implemented by our Barangay, City Government of Balanga, Provincial Government of Bataan and other LGU Programs.
This program gains harmony between Barangay Officials, Barangay Tanods, Workers and Constituents by giving awards and recognized their valuable support to the Barangay every end of the year.
Raffles “CEDULA MO, REGALO KO” is a campaign to increase our Local Tax Revenue. BARANGAY CATANING is the 1st Barangay conducted this kind of programs every end of the year for the benefits of our Constituents thru the leadership of our kind and talented Punong Barangay BENIGNO P. MERIÑO.
